By learning to trust, respect and serve others, Eastbournians will learn how to form meaningful relationships that will allow them to enrich themselves and in so doing make them a valuable asset to their community.
As a core component of our curricular and extra-curricular programme we already deliver a number of opportunities which develop Life and Learning skills. Pupils currently have PSHE, RS, LRC and General Study lessons and Circus lectures. Opportunities also exist outside the classroom such as CCF, Drama, Sport, Music, S@S and Duke of Edinburgh within our activities programme. Many other pastoral and study skills are also developed within the Houses lead by HsMs and supported by their tutors.
The Life and Learning skills department will consolidate, co-ordinate and manage the delivery of the non-examined components available to pupils. The programme will identify the key concepts to be delivered to particular year groups over the coming years.
