Admissions

Enquiries from parents who are interested in their son or daughter attending the College are welcomed by telephone, fax, email or letter at any time. These should be addressed to the Registrar or the Admissions Secretary (contact details). As a general rule, pupils start in the Michaelmas Term in Year 9, aged 13, or they join the Lower Sixth (Year 12), aged 16, although other times are considered in exceptional circumstances.

Our next Open Morning is on Saturday 28 April 2012 from 9am. Please join us between 9 and 10am to see the school in action – no appointment is necessary.  For those interested in sixth form enty, we also hold a Sixth Form Information Evening once a year during the Michaelmas Term.  Please contact us for further details.

We are always glad to welcome prospective parents and pupils for an introductory visit. You can also gain an initial impression of the school from the prospectus section of this web site or alternatively you can order a copy of our prospectus here.

Prospective parents are welcome to visit the College on open mornings which take place in October and April/May. There will be opportunities to be shown around the College by a guide, hear the headmaster Mr Simon Davies speak, and meet some of the teachers.  Dates for future open mornings for both Year 9 and sixth form entry can be found by clicking on this link.

Fees for the year September 2011 to September 2012 are £27,315 annually for boarding (£9,105 per term) and £17,985 annually for day (£5,995 per term). Scholarships and other financial awards are available both for entry into Year 9 and into the sixth form.

You can find a brief overview of the admissions process, which explains the steps involved, and also download forms and other admissions information.
