“Welcome to Reeves House”

Reeves House

Reeves House is one of the three day boy Houses. It welcomes approximately sixty five pupils from ages thirteen to eighteen. Boys arrive by 8.30am and use the House as their home base whilst at school. Each boy has his own desk and he keeps his books, files, games kit and other possessions in his own drawers and locker. As the boys progress through the House, so the studies become smaller, allowing more private working space.
Chris Corfield is the Reeves housemaster. He teaches biology and is also a hockey and cricket coach. He and his wife Catherine have three children: the eldest is at Eastbourne College, and the younger two at St. Andrew's preparatory school. There are six other members of staff attached to Reeves who assist the Housemaster with the care of the boys.

There are various recreational facilities in the House, including a table-tennis table, pool table and an astroturf multi-use surface. Changing rooms allow boys to shower after sport. Boys complete their homework at school, under supervision, before returning home in the evening. There is a library with six networked PCs for quiet work.

If you are new to the College and you'd like to arrange a visit, please contact the Registrar.  If you came looking for something in particular and it wasn't here or if you would like to know anything generally about the House, please contact me and I will do my best to help.
