Who can join?
Parents of former pupils, former employees and their families and local people otherwise unconnected with the College can join. All current College employees are automatically members of the Collegial Society, as are all parents of pupils currently at the school. Apart from current staff and parents, the Society now has almost 300 members. Old Eastbournians, of course, are also welcome to join and this will enable them to come along to our events too.

How much does it cost?
To join, all we ask is a one-off contribution to the Collegial Society fund (we suggest £20 for one and £30 for two, cheques payable to Eastbourne College). This fund helps to offset the cost of occasional speakers, lower the price for our annual meal, and enable group tickets to be bought in advance. It also helps towards the cost of mailing our regular newsletters.

Many of our activities are free to members, though some are self-financing. Those of you who have paid regular, annual subscriptions in the past are automatically members and you need pay no more to remain a member and remain on our mailing list.
