“celebrating 140 years since its foundation in 1867”
140th anniversary

140th anniversary

The College was founded on 20 August 1867 at Ellesmere Villas (now Spencer Court) in Spencer Road, Eastbourne.

During our 140th anniversary year in 2007, regular College events had a special celebratory flavour and extra occasions including concerts, dinners, displays and fireworks gave everyone the opportunity to toast the College and remember those who have supported it over its fourteen decades.
