The Old Eastbournian Association exists to:

  • raise money as required for the benefit of the College and the Old Eastbournian Charity for charitable objects and for members or their dependants in need

Annual dinner
A dinner for OEs takes place every year and is attended by members of staff as well as OEs - come along and meet old friends.

The business directory is shortly to be replaced by an interactive business and career networking webiste. Please see the Business Directory page for more details.

Old Eastbourian Charity
The charity, recognised by the Charity Commissioners, exists to provide financial assistance to those who would not otherwise be able to come to the College. Most often it has provided short-term assistance to enable pupils to continue at or be admitted to the College when their parents have met unexpected difficulties. It also administers the Scoresby-Jackson Science Scholarships and the Birley Fund, which will play a role in encouraging pupils to enjoy music at the College. For more information please contact Eric Koops c/o the OEA office.

The Old Eastbournian magazine
The Old Eastbournian magazine (formerly the OEA annual report) is published at the beginning of each calendar year.

Reunion dinners
Dinners are held annually for selected year groups of OEs together with their partners to meet their contemporaries as guests of the College - you will be invited every four to five years so make sure the OEA has your current address. To check which year your reunion will be held please see our Reunions page.

The East India Club
This top London Club, situated in St James’s Square, offers a J7 membership to OE boys who join within 18 months of leaving school. One subscription payment is made, lasting until the age of 25, and recently this has represented quite remarkable value for money. Details of the facilities offered by the club can be obtained from the East India Club Secretary to whom applications for membership should be made. Applicants will also require a personal letter of recommendation from the Headmaster. Contact The Secretary, East India, Devonshire and Public Schools Club, 16 St James’s Square, London, SW1Y 4LH.
