“Torin Douglas: media correspondent for the BBC”

The Eastbourne College Society Annual Lecture

The Eastbourne College Society lectures began in 2007 as part of the College's 140th celebrations. On Thursday Old Eastbournian Torin Douglas gave the third annual lecture in the College Theatre.

Torin is familiar from television and radio as the media correspondent for BBC News, for which he reports on all aspects of the media world, from individual programmes and personalities to the wider issues of ownership and regulation.

Entitled ‘The end of the media’s golden age?’, Torin's first-rate talk examined the current highs and lows of the UK media.
