An experienced, motivated and enthusiastic teacher is required as soon as possible for an initial fixed term period of 12 months to teach Pre-Prep children (reception) in this busy and friendly 1-13 coeducational IAPS Preparatory School set in a beautiful location tucked between the South Downs and the sea.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in enthusing children of Pre- Prep age and have knowledge and experience of the Key Stage 1 and EYFS curriculum.

Eastbourne College is seeking a Day House Matron to support the health and well-being of pupils as part of the pastoral team and in liaison with all College staff, pupils, and parents.

Salary: £14,829 per annum (based on £16.80 per hour)

Hours of Work: 1.00pm to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only (22.5 hours per week).

Security Officer

Eastbourne College is looking to recruit a security officer to support the operational management of Eastbourne College’s campus by promoting a safe and secure environment for the pupils, staff and visitors.

The role includes key holding and locking up of the school’s academic campus; visible patrols of academic, boarding facilities and sports sites; fire warden responsibility; security alarm response; and on the College’s out of hours call out list.

The successful candidate must be appropriately qualified with an SIA licence and all appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.

Hours of work are 8.00pm to midnight (4 hours per evening), all year round.

Week 1: Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Rate of pay: £12.14 per hour
