Event access and helping to keep us all safe
Our school is one bubble, so to keep our community and visitors as covid-secure as possible, we ask all visitors to provide proof of a negative Covid-19 test result taken within 48 hours of arrival (or 72 hours if routinely testing twice-weekly). Whichever approved test you use (PCR, NHS or non-NHS Rapid Antigen Test, or nasal-only lateral flow test are some examples), please show one of the following to College staff before entering the building:
- an email or text message from the NHS – usually obtained once you have registered your lateral flow test result here
- a date-stamped photo of a negative test result
- printed proof of a negative test result
Without proof, you will not be allowed access to the event.
Note: Children under the age of 11 will not be expected to take a Covid-19 test. If anyone should display the main signs and symptoms of Covid-19 infection (high temperature; a new, continuous cough; loss or change to your sense of smell or taste), please do not come to our event. Instead, follow the guidance on the NHS website: self-isolate, book a PCR test, and call NHS 111 if you are worried about your symptoms. Visitors are required to wear a face covering when indoors when they are or may be closer than 2m to other persons. The government “expects and recommends that they are worn in enclosed and crowded spaces where you may come into contact with people you don’t normally meet”. In addition, we may request contact details for contact tracing purposes.
