Gonville swim the Channel for The Matthew 25 Mission

The boys of Gonville house took part in a 21 mile swim to raise money for The Matthew 25 Mission. The boys took on the challenge to swim the distance of the English Channel, and we are pleased to say they completed it. In total they swam 2254 lengths of the College pool, with Year 10 pupil, Harry, swimming 255 of these! Gonville have hosted a number of fundraising events for this charity throughout the year and this was their last one. The boys surpassed their original target fundraising amount, and extended their goal to £1,000, which they have now also exceeded.
