Seven out of every ten pupils achieve their first choice university
More than 90 per cent of leavers go on to university, while others might opt for an art foundation course or drama college, and some might go directly into a business apprenticeship. Seventy per cent of pupils achieve their first choice university, typically within the Russell Group. Fifteen students have gone to Oxbridge over the past three years.
The College’s care for pupils extends well beyond UCAS applications and acceptance by universities; in addition to the help given to the Upper Sixth, some 20 former pupils every year are also given guidance or higher education and other options.
