Senior maths competition
On 13 November a team of four College mathematicians travelled to Lancing College to compete against 22 other schools in the regional round of the 2013 Senior Maths Olympiad.
The College team performed very well against very highly talented opposition and finished second overall. The score was just a couple of marks behind the regional winners and the Eastbourne team will hear in December whether they have qualified for the national final with one of the highest second placed scores from all of the regional competitions.
The team members were Stephen Burchett (Year 13 Craig), Tammy Tam (Year 13 School), Tianyu Wang (Year 11 Watt) and Shan Zhang (Year 12, School).
