The Eastbourne College equestrian team enjoyed another very successful weekend at the NSEA Eventer's Challenge Final held at the world famous All England Jumping Course at Hickstead. The 12-rider squad brought home a championship second place as well as two wins in the National Addington Championship Qualifiers.

Teams came from every corner of the country to contest the Eventers Challenge Finals. In the 90cm Final Nicol Bassett, Imogen Carr, Charlie Pincus and India Piper Dadswell recorded a superb second place from 25 teams.

On Monday the squad dominated the Jumping with Style Addington National Qualifiers. The College 80cm team (Lauren Carr, Amelia Dipper, Harriet Dipper and Callum Hynes) won the class by a massive margin from the other 19 teams. Harriet and Lauren finished in individual second and fourth places respectively from over 90 riders. Callum was making his debut at Championship Qualifier level but rose to the occasion splendidly with a confident clear.

Not to be outdone, the two 90cm teams both turned in cracking performances. From 18 teams the College Red team (Nicol Bassett, Lauren Carr, Harriet Dipper, and India Piper-Dadswell) won the class whilst the Blue Team (Imogen Carr, Charlie Pincus, India Piper-Dadswell and Will Reeves) finished fourth with India placed sixth individually from 90 riders.

The 1m Jumping With Style team (Imogen Carr, Rosie Kelly, India Piper-Dadswell and Will Reeves) finished in third place with Rosie taking third place individually.
