Arts Award Showcase: Celebrating Two Years of Talent

On Thursday 13 March the Year 13 Arts Award pupils put on a brilliant showcase showing the breadth of their creativity across the past two years. The evening started with a premiere of three films by Mary, Olly and Dexter. This was organised and presented by Georgia.

Two fantastic workshops in stop animation and origami were hosted by Charlie and Nao respectively.

Flora and Mandy reprised the brilliant photo booth concept from their Curation Project and Isabella and Evie displayed photos from the excellent Dance and Vocal Showcases that they organised last year. Lola and Freya presented the prizes to the winners of their wonderful Sewing Bee which featured pupils and teachers from all the Houses. Amelia showcased her intricate, beautiful textiles design and Noah presented photos from the Year 9 Drama project which he directed.

The whole evening was expertly curated by Martha with the poster and signage designed by Al.

We look forward to seeing Jossi in Layla’s production of Waiting for Godot in a few weeks’ time.
