Visual Arts Society

What a brilliant evening at Open Studios 2026.

We were thrilled to welcome families and friends to explore pupils’ work across Art, DT, Photography and Textiles, celebrating the launch of our new Visual Arts Society. Set within the historic Casson Art School, opened in 1980, the launch marks an exciting new chapter for visual arts at the College, recognising the creativity and ambition of our young artists. Thank you to everyone who came to support.

A bright art classroom with sketchbooks, drawings, and artworks displayed on tables and easels. Two students from the Visual Arts Society work at desks, surrounded by art materials and projects hanging on walls and lines.    A large black-and-white photograph of an elephant hangs vertically indoors at the Visual Arts Society, with several people standing and talking around it. The photo creates the illusion that the elephant is facing the viewer.    Several small, colourful ceramic houses with various shapes and roof styles are displayed on a white table in an art studio, reflecting the creativity celebrated by the Arts Society, with shelves and artwork visible in the background.
