An international boarder from Ukraine, Mariia has balanced her academic studies with her passion for dance throughout her time at Eastbourne College. She credits the flexibility of boarding life and support from her tutor with helping her manage her time, particularly during the busy GCSE exam period.
Mariia is celebrating an excellent set of GCSE results, including nine grade 8s. She remains at Eastbourne College, joining our sixth form this September.
