An Academic Scholar and full boarder, Herbert has made the most of the academic and wider opportunities available at Eastbourne College. Alongside achieving his Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, he is an Arkwright Engineering Scholar and was joint top cadet in Year 11. His interests extend beyond the classroom, from sailing and windsurfing at College to climbing outside school.
Herbert will continue at Eastbourne College sixth form this September, studying chemistry, physics, mathematics and further mathematics at A-level. With a strong interest in engineering and ambitions to apply to Oxbridge, he is already looking ahead to where his interests might take him next.
