Berlin History trip

A group of young people posing for a photo on a lawn in front of the historic Reichstag building in Berlin, capturing memories from their trip on a sunny day.

A group of history pupils from years 10 and 11 recently spent a fantastic four days in Berlin. The trip expanded and consolidated their understanding of the rise and fall of the Third Reich, the events of the Holocaust and Cold War Berlin. The group visited a range of museums, memorials and sites including the 1936 Olympic stadium, the Reichstag, Sachsenhausen Concentration camp, The Jewish Quarter and topped it all off with an exhilarating bike tour of the city!

Three smiling women in jackets pose together in front of the Brandenburg Gate during their Berlin trip. The cloudy sky lets some sun through, and several people can be seen in the background. Colourful street art mural spotted on a Berlin History tour: a large monkey holding a camera, a smiling girl, and a hand reaching for a crescent moon on blue with white spots. Graffiti and textures tell tales of your unforgettable Berlin trip.
