A Streetcar Named Desire
Eastbourne College ran an internal production of Tennessee Williams’ classic American drama A Streetcar Named Desire across four nights, in the Le Brocq studio.
Phil Poole’s creative set and Paul Turner’s clever lighting created the perfect conditions for this hot and sweaty exploration of betrayal and manipulation.
It played to packed houses who were gripped by the skill and intensity with which the young cast conveyed the anguish, humour and pathos of the characters
