Biology beach field trip
Late in the summer term and with the AS examinations behind them, 30 Lower Sixth biologists spent two glorious afternoons at nearby Seaford Head studying rocky shore zonation.
Working in small groups they carried out transects recording the abundance of the more common organisms. They will spend time out of lessons writing up their work and researching the biotic interactions that occur on the shore.
