Cambridge visit

Members of the College’s academic societies recently visited the University of Cambridge on their annual Oxbridge aspirational visit.

Pupils enjoyed unusual access to a number of the Colleges, including personal tours and the opportunity to dine in two different Colleges. They also met with College admissions tutors.

The scientists had their minds blown away by the amazing equipment and research being undertaken at the Engineering and the Chemistry Departments, whilst the arts and humanities group discovered the Sidgwick site and had their debating skills tested at the Cambridge Union.

Following an evening at the theatre, pupils benefited from a morning of focused advice and visits from one of eight Old Eastbournians currently at Cambridge who had offered to help support this next generation of potential applicants.

Next year’s visit will be to Oxford University.
