The Old Eastbournian Cricket Club team has successfully reached the final of the 2017 Cricketer Cup. The competition is celebrating its 50th year and is played between the top 32 cricketing schools in the country. The OEs, who were invited to join the competition in 2011, will face the Old Wellingtonians in the final.
Building on their win against the Old Wykehamists 2 weeks ago, the young OE team convincingly beat the Old Bedfordians by 115 runs.
The final will be played at the beautiful and picturesque Arundel Castle cricket ground on Sunday 6 August and supporters are most welcome. Play starts at 11.00am.
Supporters are invited to bring a picnic and enjoy a glass of something refreshing courtesy of the Eastbournian Society.
