Will Dickens, OE, who completed his studies at the College in June, has been formally recognised for achieving the highest number of points for WJEC A level Product Design from the summer 2014 cohort across England and Wales.
Will and his parents will travel to Cardiff on 18 December to collect the award.
Will is currently enjoying a a gap year that includes qualifying as an RYA Day Skipper and spending three months in Finland escorting groups to see the Northern Lights using husky dogs and skidoos. On his return, Will hopes to join an RAF gliding squadron as a staff cadet. The photo above shows Will enjoying a recent flight in a glider.
This award for Will follows a similar award received by former pupil Harold Wolstenholme last year. This repeated success reflects extremely well on the pupils and their design technology teachers.
