Equestrian success
On Thursday 11 April the Eastbourne College Equestrian Team took part in the Inter-Schools Individual and Team Show Jumping event at Duckhurst Farm Show Centre, in Staplehurst, Kent. The team comprised Phoebe Gale, Natasha Gale, Minna Hornsby and Helen McAll.
In their very first event as a team the girls competed against individuals and teams from Bedes, Benenden, St Leonards Mayfield, Tonbridge and Cranbrook. All four Eastbourne horses and riders successfully tackled the 90cm course and Phoebe went on to win the one metre individual course.
A fantastic and thrilling inaugural event for the Eastbourne College Equestrian Team, their parents, trainer and manager.
