Foundations for the future

The laying of foundations for the new academic block and pavilion marks a major milestone in the progress of Project 150.

After the demolition that took place in the summer, and the installation of a large soakaway during December, it is now time for foundations to be created for the new buildings. Throughout the last few weeks VIINCI construction have been excavating large trenches around the Project 150 site and this week the concrete trucks have been arriving at regular intervals to make the foundations.

This is a very exciting phase for this £33 million project that will transform the educational experience of generations of young people in the town of Eastbourne, across the South East and worldwide.

Once the foundations are complete, the new buildings will start to rise from the ground and everyone will be able to witness the sheer size and ambition of this project.
