Eastbourne College Elevates Golf with State-of-the-Art Swing Room

Golf at Eastbourne College has taken a significant step forward with the launch of its dedicated swing room, a purpose-built space designed to support year-round performance. Equipped with SkyTrak launch monitor technology, an ExPutt putting simulator, and a TrackMan system, the facility delivers detailed, data-driven feedback through cutting-edge coaching apps to accelerate technical improvement and development for competitive golf.

Central to the College’s golf programme, the swing room provides a high-quality environment for structured coaching, independent practice, and informal drop-in sessions. It supports golfers of all abilities, ensuring clear, measurable progress throughout the year.

Ideally located on site, the facility allows pupils to train efficiently during the school day and translate practice directly to the course – whether for school fixtures, club and county events, house golf, or golf in the holidays with family. With the fantastic Royal Eastbourne Golf Club and its two courses, we have everything a golfer could need to improve at any level.

Supported by generous benefactors and the Old Eastbournian Golf Society, the swing room represents a rare level of provision at school level and an exciting new chapter for golf at Eastbourne College.
