SISNA 2013

On Saturday 9 March four College netball squads travelled to Roedean School to take part in this year’s Sussex Independent Schools’ Netball Association (SISNA) tournament.

The senior girls qualified for the semi-final but lost 9–12 to the eventual tournament winners, Brighton College. The Eastbourne College players were the second highest scoring team in the tournament and played extremely well against an exceptional team from Brighton.

The U15 team came fourth in their section against eight other schools and the U14 and U16 teams each finished in seventh place in their respective groups.

The quality of netball throughout the tournament was extremely high and the College teams all responded positively, enjoying a morning of very competitive netball.
