Year 10 French Exchange Trip: A Memorable Experience in Saint-Jean-de-Luz

Our Year 10 pupils were warmly welcomed to the French exchange at Lycée Saint Thomas d’Aquin in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, with the British flag raised in their honor yesterday morning. The exchange marks an exciting cultural journey for our students, offering them the opportunity to immerse themselves in French culture and language while building lasting friendships.

To kick off the experience, the pupils enjoyed a weekend trip to Biarritz, where they spent quality time with their French partners. This excursion allowed them to explore the stunning landscapes, vibrant culture, and rich history of the region, creating unforgettable memories and strengthening their international connections.

Four people stand side by side with their backs to the camera, facing a blue sea under a clear sky. They are on a stone terrace in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, likely enjoying views during their Year 10 French Exchange Trip. Green shrubs and a tree sit on the right. A group of Year 10 pupils stand along a metal railing in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, looking out at the blue sea under a clear sky. They cast long shadows on the pavement, with some greenery visible beyond the barrier. Eight young women stand together smiling in front of a scenic seaside view in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, with blue sky, clouds, and the sea behind them. Dressed casually, these Year 10 friends are arm in arm on their French Exchange Trip.
