It was a proud and memorable moment for Eastbourne College as a group of Old Eastbournians reunited at the prestigious Buckingham Palace to receive their Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. Surrounded by the grandeur of the royal setting, these former pupils gathered to celebrate the culmination of their hard work, determination, and commitment. The Gold Award represents the highest level of the Duke of Edinburgh’s programme, requiring months of volunteering, physical activity, skill development, and a challenging expedition. To achieve this accolade is a testament to their perseverance and character. The reunion at Buckingham Palace was not only a celebration of individual achievement but also a reflection of the strong bonds and shared experiences formed during their time at Eastbourne College. It was heartening to see these accomplished young people together again, proudly representing the values of the College and inspiring future generations to pursue their own goals with passion and resilience
