King opens world’s longest coastal path around England
King Charles officially opened the new King Charles III England Coast Path today after visiting Seven Sisters National Nature Reserve, just minutes from our door.
Our pupils are privileged to learn, train and unwind beside one of the most beautiful sections of this national trail. Outdoor learning, wellbeing walks, DofE expeditions and coastal runs for our pupils all feel a bit different when your ‘classroom’ sits on the same coastline the King walked this morning! The path now wraps continuously around England’s shoreline, stretching 2,689 miles, making it the longest managed coastal walking route in the world.
