Champions on the Pitch, Powered by the Old Eastbournians Spirit
Eastbourne Hockey Club’s U18s were crowned National Champions after a thrilling 3–2 win over Alderley Edge at the Nottingham National Hockey Centre.
The team included Eastbourne College players Joseph, Felix, Barney, Will, Harry and Jack, who showed great composure and resilience in a tense, hard‑fought final.
A special moment came off the pitch, as OE Nigel Strofton, aged 83 and still playing hockey, travelled 90 miles to support the boys — a wonderful example of the Old Eastbournians spirit.
