ARTiculation 2019
Sasha represented the College in the regional heats of the national public speaking competition ARTiculation, which took place in Folkestone yesterday. The audience were captivated by her presentation on the work of fashion designer Alexander McQueen and the judge, Stewart Drew, CEO of the De La Warr Pavilion singled her out for her poise and passionate delivery of a subject she has a personal interest in. The other contestants and their teachers all approached her afterwards to say how interesting it was to listen to and to comment on her striking jacket, inspired by her design hero. Sadly, it was not enough to get her through to the final round, but she was an excellent ambassador for the College.
