Eastbourne College Celebrates a Year of Achievement and Farewell

Pupils, staff and parents of leavers gathered for a morning service at All Saints Church before moving to the Congress Theatre for prize giving, some speeches and superb music from the College orchestra.

Heads of School, Tilly and Noah spoke warmly about their time at the College and urged all pupils to grasp as many opportunities as they can.

Tom Lawson cut a philosophical note, encouraging pupils to seek truth, beauty and integrity and to strive for goodness and happiness, stressing that the world always has and always will need leaders who lead good, decent lives.  Eastbournians have these qualities in abundance.

Finally. Nicky Eckert, Chair of Governors, thanked everyone who plays crucial roles at the College, with a special mention of leaving staff alongside Year 13 leavers.
