Bronze for Lucas at the Youth Euro Triathlon Championships
A huge congratulations to Year 13 pupil, Lucas G, who recently represented Great Britain at the Youth European Triathlon Championships in Kitzbühel, Austria. Lucas put in a phenomenal performance – delivering a powerful 250m swim, a strong 9km cycle and a determined 2.2km run to secure third place overall and bring home bronze for GB. Very many congratulations, Lucas, on this incredible achievement on the international triathlon stage and best of luck as preparations begin for the 2026 season.
The event took place in Kitzbühel, set against the beautiful backdrop of the Austrian Alps. The Alpine town has a long-standing triathlon pedigree, having hosted international competitions for more than a decade, from World Cups to Junior Championships, and continues to provide a stage for Europe’s rising stars.
