NURSERY ROOM LEADER
St Andrew’s Prep is looking to recruit a Nursery Room Leader to be responsible for classroom management and for the welfare of all the children in the Nursery and to support their learning, and personal, social, and emotional development. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who has lots of experience within an Early Years setting and a good working knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday between 7.45am and 6.15pm with options for either term time only, or all year round.
Salary: £13.91 hourly rate

NURSERY ASSISTANT
If you like spending your day finding the biggest puddles to jump in, searching for minibeasts, getting covered in glitter, making a muddy swamp for dinosaurs, or organising a teddy bears’ picnic in the woods then this is the role for you!
We have an exciting opportunity for a friendly and reliable Nursery Assistant. This position is located at St Andrew’s Prep School in Eastbourne. the role entails working with and supporting the Room Leader in ensuring that children receive the highest possible standards of care and education. To assist in classroom management and with the welfare of all the children in the Nursery to support their learning, and personal, social, and emotional development.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday between 7.45am and 6.15pm, all year round. The successful candidate must be NNEB or Level 3 in childcare or Diploma in Early Years with experience of working with children under 24 months.
Salary: From £12.66 to £12.71 hourly rate dependent on qualifications

Finance Apprentice
Eastbourne College has a vacancy within the Finance team for a Finance Apprentice.
Studying for the AAT qualification, level 3, the charity will support with relevant training costs and one day per week study release.
They will support the finance department with essential tasks, such as ordering supplies, coding invoices, processing purchase ledger transactions, coding and processing receipts, assisting with bank reconciliations and the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
A basic understanding of double-entry book-keeping would be advantageous along with any experience of working with accounting software. They will need to be able to communicate with colleagues at all levels, demonstrate a keen willingness to learn new skills and have good all round IT skills.
This role is full time, all year round with one study day a week allocated to working towards the Level 3 AAT qualification in accounting.
Salary: £19,500 p.a.

Billing Assistant and Credit controller (Job Share 22 1/2 hours weekly)
Eastbourne College has a vacancy within the Finance team for a Billing Assistant and Credit Controller.
The role will manage all billing activities to ensure that charges are accurately detailed and recorded, including fee remissions and additional pupil charges. They will respond to billing enquiries from parents efficiently and deal with credit control issues in a timely manner, including agreeing payment plans and managing debtors.
Previous credit control experience is essential along with the ability to liaise with parents and track pupil accounts rigorously. A basic knowledge of VAT rules is required and they must have an outstanding attention to detail. The role requires a confident individual with a proactive willingness to identify areas for improvement, be able to communicate with colleagues at all levels and have good all round IT skills.
This role is being advertised as a job share arrangement. Hours are flexible.
Salary: £27,000 p.a. pro-rata

PURCHASE LEDGER, TRIPS AND EXPENSES ASSISTANT
Eastbourne College has a vacancy within the Finance team for a Purchase Ledger, Trips and Expenses Assistant.
The role will ensure invoices are authorised by the relevant budget holder and correctly posted to the purchase ledger with accurate VAT codes. They will manage activities to process staff expense claims, in line with the Charity’s expenses policy and prepare weekly BACS payments for all suppliers.
This position requires a detail orientated individual who can manage records, problem solve and assist in the overall efficiency of the accounts department. A basic knowledge of input VAT rules and experience in running a purchase ledger for a busy organisation will be required, along with strong IT skills.
This role is full time, all year round.
Salary: £27,000 p.a.
