Eastbournian society 2024 events- Hello, Dolly!
This exuberant revival stars Imelda Staunton as Dolly Levi and is directed by Dominic Cooke. No musical theatre fan worth their salt would want to miss the opportunity to see her in her element. Audiences may also recognise Staunton from her incomparable performances as Queen Elizabeth II in The Crown, for which she earned BAFTA and Golden Globe Award nominations; and the Harry Potter film franchise.
With a timeless score including ‘Elegance’ and ‘It Takes a Woman’, Hello, Dolly! is a brilliantly feel-good musical from the creatives behind Mame, La Cage aux Folles and 42nd Street.
