Headmaster’s Commendations Feb 2014
The Headmaster is pleased to commend the following pupils:
Shan Zhang, Year 12 School House, for her commitment to co-ordinating events to raise money and awareness for orphans in Tibet by organising a successful cake sale, arranging a chapel collection and persuading School House to sponsor Red Cross, Tibet at the house concert. This was a particularly remarkable achievement for someone so new to the school.
Vicky Watson, Year 11 Blackwater, for her generous contribution of a large quantity of homemade cupcakes and a cake for the Orphans in Tibet cake sale which significantly increased the profits made on the day. Vicky had no direct connection with either the house or the pupil organising the event but simply responded with an enthusiasm over and above expectation to a call for help.
