Post Eastbourne College, Andrew spent six years training to be a doctor in Sheffield. There he split his time between lectures (in the early years), shadowing his medical mentors later on and spending most weekends playing in the Yorkshire rugby leagues. Andrew then completed a research year studying male factor infertility and graduated in 2018. He is now approaching the end of his first year as an F1 junior doctor, working in Birmingham. He states, ‘this year has been a great experience, working across the various specialities, although I would perhaps trade-in some of the night shifts!’
