World Mental Health Day

World Mental Health DayToday the College celebrated World Mental Health Day. Year 10 pupils discussed mental health in assembly, and talked about the importance of looking after themselves and others. In their PSHE lesson, Upper Sixth pupils had a mental health, and emotional wellbeing session. The aim was to support pupils to develop the skills, language and knowledge they need to keep themselves and others healthy and safe.

Pupils have also been showing their ‘hands up’ to raise awareness of mental health all around the College.

It is important to continue in our campaign to raise awareness, encourage people to speak up, to support others at home or at school and to never let anyone think they are on their own.

With a healthy balance of academic studies,  co-curricular activities, superb pastoral care and time to enjoy the company of friends in our stunning seaside location, these are key in the personal development and emotional wellbeing of our pupils. The College prides itself on delivering healthy learning for the long term.
