Essay Gem Wins National Prize

Congratulations to Year 12 pupil, Sapphyre Mills Kennelly, who has been selected as a winner of the Immerse Education Essay Competition.

Sapphyre Mills Kennelly

Sapphyre achieved eleven 9s at GCSE

In order to enter and qualify for her age group, Sapphyre submitted an essay response to a pre-set question on a subject of her choosing. She entered the law section of the competition and wrote an essay on the title: ‘Legal decisions should be automated using algorithms. Discuss.’

A delighted Sapphyre said,

I chose this category as it was a good opportunity for me to research a subject that I do not directly study within my A-levels, and I found the subsequent legal debates really interesting.

Sapphyre, who aced her GCSEs this year with eleven straight 9s, is studying five A-levels (chemistry, maths, further maths, German, history), and general studies, and continues to excel in music, sport and service in the community.
